THE TWILIGHT TURNS(Original y Castellano) Por.James Joyce

The Twilight Turns
The twilight turns from amethyst
To deep and deeper blue,
The lamp fills with a pale green glow
The trees of the avenue. The old piano plays an air,
Sedate and slow and gay;
She bends upon the yellow keys,
Her head inclines this way.
Shy thought and grave wide eyes and hands
That wander as they list –
The twilight turns to darker blue
With lights of amethyst.
El crepúsculo cambia de amatista
a profundo y más profundo azul
los faroles llenan de luz verde
la calle de los árboles. La música del piano en el aire
es  lenta y viva
Ella se inclina  hacia las teclas amarillas
mirando receptiva.
Tímida y de mirada grave y manos
cambiantes de pianista…
El crepúsculo vuelve a azul oscuro
con luces de amatista.
